Job Title Design Technologist, PR Technologist
Location Johannesburg – Head Office
Minimum Qualifications Bsc. Civil Eng/B. Eng Hons /B Tech / ND or Higher
Experience 05 to 10 years
Purpose of the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced civil engineer with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) certification to join our team. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, construction and maintenance of various infrastructure projects in South Africa. Your expertise will continue to the development of safe, efficient and sustainable structures and system. In addition you will be responsible for project management, providing leadership to the project team to drive performance outcomes and maintain client and stakeholder engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary Purpose of the Job
- Primary supervision of the subordinates, Clients and maximization of business value
- Technical design and monitoring
- Preparation of contract documents and schedules of quantities
- Site supervision of works under minimal guidance.
- Key Tasks
- Management of subordinates and Client relations
- Technical design resulting in drawings.
- Preparation of contract documents
- Plan and execute projects (project management)
- Report writing
- Acting as the Engineer’s representative on contract

Position 2 : Structural Technologist
Job Title: Structural Technologist
Location: Gauteng
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: 05-10 years
Purpose of the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced civil engineer with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) certification to join our team. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, construction and maintenance of various infrastructure projects in South Africa. Your expertise will continue to the development of safe, efficient and sustainable structures and system. In addition you will be responsible for project management, providing leadership to the project team to drive performance outcomes and maintain client and stakeholder engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines and quality standards
- Prepare and review engineering designs, specifications and technical drawings for structures, roads, bridges, water system, and other infrastructure projects.
- Provide on-site supervision and technical guidance during the construction phase to ensure compliance with projects plans specifications ad safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that construction work meets the required standards and specifications
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including material quantities, labor, and equipment costs.
- Evaluate potential environment impacts of construction projects and propose mitigation measures to minimize adverse effects on the environment.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination and integration of projects requirements, participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations and legal requirements.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, progress updates and documentation related to projects, design and inspections.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
