Innocent Munyame is a BSc (Hons) .Civil Engineering Graduate (1999) from the University of Zimbabwe.
During his studies, he worked for Inter- Consult Consulting Engineers Zw as an Undergraduate Trainee Engineer. Upon completion of his studies, he joined Inter -Consult as a Trainee Graduate Engineer in the Design office. Here he was part of the design team working on various infrastructure services projects that included mainly design of water, sewer, roads and storm-water services. He later moved to Mutasa Rural District Municipality where he became head of the Technical Department of the Municipality. The following years he spent in Botswana working for again a Consulting Company, Integrated Engineers, before moving to South Africa in 2007.
From 2007 to May 2009 he worked for several Civil Engineering Consulting companies, majoring in Project Management, Supervision and Design of infrastructure projects. He then joined Bosch Stemele Consulting Engineers and worked there as a Project Engineer for 5years. With Bosch Stemele he was involved in design and implementation of roads, storm-water, and water and sewer projects and was involved in training and mentoring of Civil Engineering Graduates and students.
Some of the projects he has been involved in include, 1700mm Dia Water Pipeline Design-Rand Water Project H39 – Klipfontein to Brakfontein (project value approx. R180mil); City of Bulawayo Water and Waste water Master Plan (project value approx. R9.8 Mil Fees) ; Kudube Unit 6 Storm-water Project City of Tshwane ( project value, approx. R 45,0 Mil) ; Mabopane Taxi Rank (project value approx. R200mil). In many of the projects he gained vast experience in design, project management, supervision and project documentation.
In June 2014 he joined Makone Consulting Engineers as a Senior Civil Engineer, leading the design and implementation of all civil projects. He is currently a Candidate Engineer with ECSA and currently processing his registration as a Professional Engineer.
